A commercial truck dealership group is hiring a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician for its Guelph, Ontario location. Second and third-year apprentices under a valid registered 310T training agreement with Skilled Trades Ontario (or equivalent) are also encouraged to apply. You'll perform repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks, keeping them in safe and reliable working condition. Schedule: - Standard 8-hour shifts, with some flexibility on the hours you're looking for - Guaranteed 40 hours per week - Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 44 hours - Non-unionized shop, open year-round except statutory holidays What you'll do: - Perform routine maintenance, safeties and repairs on heavy-duty trucks - diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical systems - Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment - Complete inspections and document work accurately - Work to a high standard of customer satisfaction What you bring: - 310T licence, or a 2nd/3rd year apprentice under a valid registered training agreement - Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills - Valid G licence and clean driving record - Legally entitled to work in Canada What's offered: - $34 - $55.50/hr based on licence and experience - Proficiency-based bonus plan - up to $1,000 monthly on efficiency metrics - Signing bonus of up to $2,000 based on licence and years of experience - Benefits package after 3 months (employer/employee cost share) - Annual tool ($300) and boot ($200) allowances - Manufacturer training, paid both at work and at home - Service awards and annual company events
