A material-handling and dock equipment provider is hiring a Commercial Dock Door Mechanic for the Moncton, New Brunswick area. You'll service and repair commercial and industrial dock equipment at customer sites, with the role also covering general road service work. Schedule: - Field-based role across the Moncton area - Company vehicle, insurance and gas card provided What you'll do: - Diagnose and repair dock equipment, including overhead doors, dock levelers, seals, bumpers and restraints - Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on dock equipment - Take on general road service calls for lift trucks and related equipment as needed - Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues - Complete work orders and document service performed, parts used and follow-up actions - Communicate clearly with customers on issues, solutions and repair timelines What you bring: - Commercial or industrial door experience, or an equivalent hands-on mechanical background - Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge - Comfortable with hand tools, diagnostic tools and measuring devices - Strong communication and customer-service skills - Valid driver's license What's offered: - $70,000 to $80,000 per year plus overtime - Comprehensive benefits package and pension matching - Company vehicle, gas card, tool and boot allowance - Ongoing training and long-term career growth
