A national waste and recycling company is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for its Granby shop. Apprentices are welcome: you'll get coaching and room to develop. The team works in French. Schedule: - Weekday day shift with flexible hours - Permanent, full-time What you'll do: - Preventive maintenance and repairs on a diesel truck fleet - Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults - Use diagnostic tools to find and fix problems efficiently - Regular inspections with clear work records - Follow shop safety standards What you bring: - Heavy vehicle mechanics diploma (DEP) or equivalent experience; apprentices welcome - Experience with heavy trucks, diagnostics and hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems - Class 5 licence (Class 3 an asset) - Your own basic tool box - French (francophone team) - Canadian citizenship, permanent residence or an open work permit (no sponsorship) What's offered: - Up to $34.92 per hour depending on experience, including skill premiums - $1,000 annual tool allowance; uniforms and safety gear provided - Full insurance and a retirement plan with employer contribution - Ongoing training, career progression and an employee assistance program
