A manufacturer is hiring a Director of Maintenance & Reliability to lead plant maintenance, reliability engineering, and capital projects, owning asset uptime and a team of millwrights, electricians, and reliability specialists.
We are looking for a Director of Maintenance & Reliability in Columbus, Ohio. This role leads maintenance and reliability for a high-volume manufacturing operation. You will own asset uptime, preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and capital projects, leading a team of supervisors, millwrights, industrial electricians, and reliability specialists to reduce downtime and total cost of ownership. What you'll own: - Plant maintenance strategy, budget, and reliability roadmap - PM/PdM programs, CMMS, and root-cause analysis - Leadership of maintenance supervisors and skilled-trades teams - Capital projects and equipment installations - Spare-parts strategy and contractor management Requirements: - 10+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance - 5+ years in maintenance or reliability leadership - Strong grounding in reliability methods (RCM, FMEA, TPM) and CMMS - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field preferred - Experience leading skilled-trades teams in a unionized environment is an asset Compensation: - $125,000 to $160,000 based on experience, plus bonus - Full benefits and 401(k) with match - Relocation assistance available
