A commercial equipment dealer group is hiring a Director of Service Operations to lead its Pacific Northwest service branches, with full P&L ownership of the service division and its branch managers.
We are looking for a Director of Service Operations in Seattle, Washington. This role leads the service division across multiple branches, with full P&L responsibility for labor, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will manage branch and service managers, set operational standards, and grow service revenue while keeping technician utilization and first-time-fix rates high. What you'll own: - P&L for the regional service division - Leadership of branch and service managers across multiple sites - Service revenue growth, technician utilization, and warranty performance - Customer escalations and key-account relationships - Recruiting, training, and retention of service leadership and technicians Requirements: - 10+ years in service operations within heavy equipment, trucking, or industrial dealerships - 5+ years leading multi-site service teams with P&L accountability - Strong command of service KPIs (utilization, recovery, effective labor rate) - Proven track record growing service revenue and margin - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Compensation: - $140,000 to $180,000 based on experience, plus annual bonus - Full benefits and 401(k) with match - Relocation assistance available
