An automotive parts manufacturer in Cambridge, Ontario is hiring a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright to support its stamping and metal-forming operation. This role focuses on mechanical and hydraulic presses, die-handling equipment, automation and material-handling systems in a high-volume Tier 1/Tier 2 plant. Schedule: - Rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights) on a continental schedule - 42-44 hours per week with regular overtime available - Unionized facility What you'll do: - Maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses (100 to 1,000+ ton) - Service die-change systems, feeders, coil lines and robotic transfer automation - Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, clutches/brakes and lubrication systems - Perform precision alignment, fabrication and welding for repairs and installs - Execute PM routines and support new equipment installations Requirements: - Licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Certificate of Qualification) - 3+ years in an automotive, stamping or heavy-manufacturing environment - Strong press, hydraulic and die-handling experience - Solid welding and fabrication skills (MIG; TIG an asset) - Ability to read hydraulic and mechanical schematics Compensation and benefits: - $42.00 to $50.00/hr based on experience, plus shift premiums - Signing bonus for licensed 433A technicians - Full health, dental and vision benefits - Company pension and RRSP match - Tool and boot allowances and paid training
