A growing food and beverage manufacturer in Toronto, Ontario is hiring a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright to maintain and improve its high-speed processing and packaging equipment. You'll keep fillers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and PLC-driven lines running reliably in a fast-paced, food-grade environment. Schedule: - Rotating day and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday), with occasional weekend coverage - 40 hours per week guaranteed; overtime at time-and-a-half after 44 hours - Unionized facility What you'll do: - Preventative and breakdown maintenance on fillers, cappers, conveyors, pumps and gearboxes - Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults and return lines to production quickly - Perform precision alignment, bearing and seal replacement, and chain/belt drive service - Read mechanical drawings and work alongside electricians on PLC-controlled equipment - Support continuous-improvement and line-changeover projects Requirements: - Licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Certificate of Qualification) - 3+ years of millwright experience in a manufacturing or processing plant - Strong hydraulic, pneumatic and conveyor troubleshooting skills - Comfortable with welding and fabrication for repairs - Food, beverage or CPG experience an asset Compensation and benefits: - $40.00 to $48.00/hr based on experience, plus shift premium - Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits - Company pension / RRSP match - Annual tool and boot allowances - Paid OEM and skills training, with room to advance into lead hand roles
