Certus Technical Search has partnered with a large, established transportation fleet in Winnipeg that is growing their maintenance team. With a fleet of 6000 tractors and trailers in operation, this is a busy, stable environment with consistent year-round work. The shop is clean, organized, and fully supported by wash bay and maintenance staff, allowing technicians to focus on what they do best. What’s in it for you: $33.00 – $43.00/hr. (further flexible for strong technicians) $5,000 signing bonus (for fully licensed individuals) A 4-day work week - 10 hour shifts (days or afternoon shifts available) RRSP matching Annual tool allowance and boot allowance Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits Continued education support Shop environment: 24/5 operation with 20+ technicians on site Strong preventative maintenance focus Team of Maintenance Assistants handling washing and prep Collaborative team (must be comfortable mentoring apprentices) What they’re looking for: Licensed Truck & Transport or Trailer Technician (Journeyperson or Red Seal) Strong diagnostic and time management skills Ability to complete safeties Comfortable entering work orders electronically Physically capable of typical shop demands PLEASE NOTE: Our client is also open to strong 3rd and 4th year apprentices (with education support/reimbursement for the completion of the apprenticeship program) If you’re in Winnipeg and even mildly curious, please submit your resume ASAP.
