A plastics and packaging manufacturer in Mississauga, Ontario is hiring a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright for its afternoon shift. You'll maintain extrusion, injection-molding, thermoforming and downstream conveyor equipment to keep production lines reliable and efficient. Schedule: - Afternoon shift (approx. 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM), Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week; overtime at time-and-a-half after 44 hours - Non-unionized shop What you'll do: - Preventative and breakdown maintenance on extruders, molding machines and conveyors - Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps and water/cooling systems - Replace bearings, seals, belts and chain drives; perform precision alignment - Assist with mold and tooling changes and equipment relocations - Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS Requirements: - Licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Certificate of Qualification) - 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience; plastics an asset - Strong hydraulic, pneumatic and conveyor troubleshooting skills - Welding and fabrication ability for in-house repairs - Willing to work afternoons Compensation and benefits: - $38.00 to $46.00/hr based on experience, plus afternoon-shift premium - Health, dental and vision benefits after probation - Group RRSP with employer match - Tool and boot allowances - Stable, year-round work with overtime
