A material-handling equipment provider is hiring a Welder for its Mississauga shop. You'll handle welding repairs on lift trucks and forklifts, plus fabrication and modifications for equipment and the shop itself. This is a shop-based role, no driving. Schedule: - Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm - Shop-based in Mississauga What you'll do: - MIG and TIG welding repairs on lift trucks and forklifts, including crack repairs - Non-structural equipment modifications, such as sensor brackets and mast stops on new units - Repair door hinges and undercarriages - Design, fabricate and modify tools and equipment for the shop technicians - Record and bill time to work orders and complete monthly safety training What you bring: - A welding ticket: CWB, 456A or Red Seal Welder - A few years of welding experience (roughly 3-5) - Experience with industrial equipment, lifting and rigging - Lockout/tagout knowledge and the ability to follow technical procedures - Good communication and time-management skills What's offered: - $60,000 to $65,000 per year - Incentive program and benefits - Career progression and training
